Counselling Coordinator

  Part time (30 hours per week, with possibility of extension)

  £25,000-30,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. Permanent contract

Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC) is seeking to appoint a Counselling Coordinator to play a key role in running and expanding the counselling service. The post holder will coordinate counselling provision to women in Oxfordshire who have experienced rape, sexual abuse, or other forms of sexual violence; as well as recruit, train and support sessional and volunteer counsellors. The post can be flexible for the right candidate, including possible additional responsibilities for acting as the lead for all centre intakes and assessment; and/or holding a small case load of their own.

This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and expand the face to face counselling service for Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC), working in a dynamic, developing organisation meeting the needs of women and girls who have been affected by rape and sexual abuse. 

We are looking for an organised and self motivated woman who has a commitment to supporting women survivors of sexual violence. You will ideally be BACP or UKCP accredited and have experience of working with survivors of sexual violence.

Support Group Coordinator

Part time (15 hours per week, with possibility of extension)

Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC) is seeking to appoint a Support Group Coordinator to ensure the ongoing provision of the support group service, and develop the extension and remodelling of this service to reach more women across Oxfordshire.  

This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and enhance OSARCC’s support group service, working in a dynamic, developing organisation meeting the needs of women and girls who have been affected by rape and sexual abuse. 

We are looking for an organised and self motivated woman who has a commitment to supporting women survivors of sexual violence. The successful post holder will have experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and will ideally be BACP or UKCP accredited. 

The successful post holder will undertake the provision of our current support group service, as well as undertaking an evaluation of our service to date, developing a robust plan for expansion of the service to meet demand.
